Project Update: Lereba & Fonko Sites
We are excited to share the latest developments in our ongoing efforts to expand educational access and improve community infrastructure at our sites in Lereba (Roma) and Fonko. These new projects are vital steps toward creating safe, well-equipped learning environments for children in underserved communities.
📍 Lereba Site Development
We are launching a comprehensive construction and resource initiative at the Lereba site, which includes:
Construction of 4 Classrooms Each classroom costs €9,000, totaling €36,000.
Installation of 2 Water Points Each water point costs €3,500, totaling €7,000.
School Furniture for All Classrooms Includes blackboards, desks, tables, chairs, cupboards, and shelves — totaling €8,000.
Books and Stationery Supplies Essential learning materials for students — totaling €2,000.
Total Budget for Lereba Site: €53,000
📍 Fonko Site Development
The Fonko site will receive identical support and infrastructure improvements:

Total Budget for Fonko Site: €53,000
Combined Project Budget
The total funding required for both sites is:
€106,000 (Lereba: €53,000 + Fonko: €53,000)
This investment will directly impact hundreds of students by providing safe, functional, and inspiring spaces to learn and grow.
🍽️ Feeding Program Appeal
In addition to infrastructure, we are expanding our Feeding Program to support 200 of the most vulnerable students. With over 1,000 students enrolled, we carefully select those in greatest need.
Cost per student: €1 per day
Goal: Secure individual or group sponsors to sustain daily meals
This initiative ensures that children can focus on learning without the burden of hunger.
